Burled Driftwood
Scavenged driftwood tree trunk. This piece was an exercise is careful carving, it began as an 8 inch diameter trunk with strange burls all over it. I removed as much trunk as I could while keeping as much Burl as possible. Mounted on an ebonized oak panel with copper rods. Intended to hang on a wall
