Giant bud vase

This Japanese cedar bud vase is made from a cracked and broken slab tabletop given to me by a neighbor. I love the grain, and made an effort to include both heart and sapwood in each segment of the vase. This vase is relatively thick walled and stable despite the shape. The vase would be appropriate for a dried flower (or a very small dried bouquet), but can not handle water for fresh flowers.
